Gregory & Jonathan
Thank you very much for reading our profile and learning about our family. From very early in our relationship, we were passionate that adoption would be how we start our family and are very excited to be on this journey. We know that we have such love and joy to provide and we'd be honored to be fathers to your child. Thank you again for learning about us and we hope you consider us.
Qualities We Love in Each Other

What Greg respects most in Jon is his ability to make others feel comfortable regardless of the environment. He is so incredibly warm and inviting and those who have known him for 20 years or 20 minutes feel instantaneously at ease. This extends to what I love and appreciate most about him, which is his ability for me to feel safe and secure as a partner. He supports the dreams and aspirations that I have both for myself and our future family and he is quick with either support or solutions depending on the circumstance. I cannot wait to see him as a father because I know we will support a child so incredibly well.

Greg has an amazing ability to balance childlike wonder with incredible planning precision. Greg truly has figured out how to make dreams come true! This passion has helped us be spontaneous in a responsible way. This fun combination has allowed us to have wonderful experiences together, while still ensuring we are taking on track for our family goals.
What it Means to Be Parents

Becoming fathers would be the most important thing that we ever do in our life and would be the biggest excitement and challenge that we’ll experience. First and foremost, being parents means being completely selfless and caring exclusively for the needs of the child whether that be as complex as health or emotional support and as whimsical as sometimes letting them pick what’s for dinner. While we are considerate and defer to each other within our relationship, this would bring a new level of care beyond anything we’ve experienced. One of the things that we are most excited about becoming parents is exploring a new level of love that we’ve never thought possible. We are absolutely in love with one another and reaching that feeling of love and commitment was an incredible journey to go on- but we have heard that the love you feel for a child goes beyond what was even imaginable in your experiences to date. We’re also very excited to learn more about ourselves, each other and our child through being parents. Parenthood is a great responsibility and there will be many learnings which we’re excited to do together. But it will also be an exciting mystery to see the child’s personality and interests, likes and dislikes, and passions and hobbies be formed as they grow up and we’re very excited to nurture that journey.
Our Favorite Vacation Spot

We bring different favorite vacation spots to the relationship, but these favorites have resonated with each other overall. Greg’s favorite spot is Walt Disney World and has been going there since he was less than one year old. He loves the ability to disconnect from the responsibilities of the real world and to just enjoy the whimsy and fantasy that exists throughout. Incorporating Greg’s love of Disney and Jon’s love of Hawaii, we got engaged at Disney’s Aulani resort to incorporate both of our passions.
Jon’s favorite vacation place is Paris. His love of the art combined with the modern culture provides new experiences for every trip. He has been fortunate enough to share his love of food and pastries with friends and family on various trips. And while Jon loves to travel to Paris, Greg did a summer internship there so we bring different, special perspectives to going to Paris!

Our Extended Families

While Greg’s family does not live close by, he remains very close with them and has a large and supportive extended family with lots of Aunts and Uncles. One of the main traditions that we have is an Annual Boxing Day (Dec. 26th) at his mom’s house. This includes party games like cellophane ball, lots of festive foods and chilis and has occasionally included horse-drawn carriage rides with caroling. Greg’s mom, older sister and younger brother, and Jon’s older brother are all incredibly supportive of the adoptive process. In particular, Greg’s mom is very excited about a grandchild being a part of Disney Trips which is a longstanding family destination. We also believe strongly that friends are a part of our extended family as well. Jon actually moved back to Columbus for his strong friend circle, as well as to strengthen his relationship with Greg. One of our favorite things to do as a friend group is to rotate hosting big potlucks where everyone brings over different foods and we celebrate a great meal together. We also enjoy hosting various holiday parties, like Halloween and Cookie parties, particularly for our friends’ little ones, where we have carved pumpkins or decorated Christmas Cookies before going to see the neighborhood decorations. We are blessed to have a strong friend and family infrastructure who have been very supportive of our adoption journey, and are excited to support and the child, showering them with love.

Our House and Neighborhood

In anticipation of beginning our adoption journey, we made the decision in 2025 to begin building our dream house in central Ohio. Our home was specifically designed to be a home for a child- we have a bathroom off a prospective child’s room, a large family room with built-in cabinets for toys and a finished basement for our child to play with friends and family. We also have a mini-suite in the basement for grandparents or aunts and uncles to stay when they visit.

One of the parts that drew us to build in this neighborhood was the sense of community that existed- including some very good friends of ours who are already in the neighborhood, and other friends that live within a 5-minute drive! We enjoy meeting up with our friends at the farmers’ market and there are many parks and playgrounds that our child can play at with our friends’ kids. Other fun activities in our neighborhood are the golf-simulator with a kid friendly setting- a favorite activity of Greg- and festivals throughout the years including Fourth of July Fireworks and Holiday Light Festivals.
Finally, one of the main reasons we choose this neighborhood is it is part of the one of the top public-school districts in Ohio and the United States. As we are passionate about education and believe that is key to providing and supporting a child, we love that we were able to create our loving home within a community as equally committed to education.
From Us to You

Thank you for taking the time to read our profile and for considering adoption for your child. We are Greg and Jon, and we have been happily married for nearly two years. We recently settled into our new home in suburban Ohio, where we're excited to build the family we've dreamed of for so long.
When we first met, we lived 90 miles apart, so our relationship was built on communication, honesty, and trust from the beginning. During those early conversations, we discovered that we shared the same dream of becoming fathers. We also quickly realized that adoption felt like the most authentic path for us to grow our family. Because of that, we understand what an incredible gift adoption is, and we’re deeply grateful to be considered as part of your journey.
Some of our favorite moments happen close to home. We love our neighborhood and the strong sense of community we've found here. Saturday mornings often begin at the local farmers market, wandering from booth to booth, trying new foods and catching up with friends. Many weekends include coffee with neighbors or dinner at one of our favorite local restaurants. We can already picture sharing those simple traditions with a child, watching them become the little star of the neighborhood, surrounded by people who genuinely care about them. We hope they'll grow up understanding how meaningful friendships and community can be.
While we love our neighborhood and the community we feel, we also enjoy getting to experience new places and learning about different cultures together. Traveling is one of our favorite ways to make memories, and we can't wait to share those experiences with a child someday. We look forward to revisiting some of our favorite places—like Paris, Disney, and Japan—but we're just as excited about discovering entirely new places together as a family. Since we believe that education happens both inside and outside the classroom, and some of life's greatest lessons come from seeing the world with curiosity and an open heart. Education is also something we value deeply. We intentionally chose our neighborhood because it offers outstanding schools and we are committed to providing every opportunity for a child to learn and grow. At the same time, we believe every child is wonderfully unique. Whether they develop a passion for science, music, sports, art, or something we haven't even imagined, our role as fathers will be to encourage, support them, and help them become the person they are meant to be.
If you choose adoption, we want you to know that we believe openness is incredibly important. We would love to keep you updated as your child grows through photos, emails, or phone calls so you can share in the milestones that make childhood so special. We look forward to celebrating every "first"—their first steps, first words, first day of preschool, and many more—and we would be honored to share those moments with you. As they grow, we'd also be happy to arrange visits during their early years if that is something that feels right for everyone involved. We believe that a child should always know their adoption story and grow up understanding just how deeply they are loved. We will always speak openly and honestly about their adoption in an age-appropriate way and help them understand the love, courage, and care that brought them into our family. We hope they will have the opportunity to know not only our perspective as their fathers but also yours, so they can fully appreciate the story of where they came from. Our greatest hope is that they always feel surrounded by love—from you and from us.
Thank you again for taking the time to get to know us. We know this is one of the most important decisions you will make, and we have tremendous respect for the courage, love, and selflessness it takes to consider adoption. Whatever you decide, we wish you peace and strength in the days ahead. We are truly grateful that you took the time to learn a little more about who we are and the family we hope to become.
With appreciation,
Gregory & Jonathan
